When I came to the Senate, I broke with many in my own party to vote for a balanced budget, because I thought it was the right thing to do. I fought to put a 100,000 cops on the street. [people still buy that old line?]I should mention that my five-year-old pointed out that the Kerry speech's finale song, Dreams by Van Halen, is the same song that plays over the finale and credits of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie.
