Self-fulfilling prophecy

If Fox News ever had any intention of being viewed as anything other than a Republican mouthpiece, it can't be good news that Tony Snow is the the new White House Press Secretary.

Liberals, start your engines.

I imagine it would look worse if it were going the other direction.

In other news, yes, I got a new modem.

They still have time to hire both Scott McClellan and Ari Fleischer for a "point-counterpoint" show that looks like the second Bush-Gore debate. "Oh, I agree with that."

Speaking of going the other direction (no, this isn't going to be another "Brokeback" joke) - I don't remember anyone but Rush Limbaugh having a cow about George S. taking a job with a major media outlet after leaving the White House. I'm guessing quite a bit more will be made of the Snow move.

Hasn't there been something of a revovling door between the media and the Democrat Party for decades, with press people going back and forth? Not just George Stephy or Chris Matthews.

No, you don't understand James. It's only a scandal when it involves Republicans.

That I do understand.

I thought that rule only applied to financial and legal corruption.

When Fox News in involved, the rules are expanded.

On the other hand, sexual scandal only applies to Democrats and TV Preachers.

Makes me wish I were a Democrat.
