What if we gave a protest and nobody came?

Well, maybe I live in the wrong part of the country (Arizona doesn't have any immigrants, does it?) but I think at this point I can safely say that my life has not been affected in any way today by the "walkout" or whatever was planned today. In fact, I had totally forgotten about it until my Canadian Immigrant (legal) software saleman friend and co-worker mentioned it a few minutes ago. He worked a full day today, by the way.

My family's regular Tuesday night dinner had to be relocated since the Sweet Tomatoes we attend religiously closed for the whole day.

You had to relocate your Tuesday dinner because ST was closed on Monday?

Good point. I should have clarified. This week was something like the third or fourth time in ten years that our schedule had to be altered because of conflicting work and travel schedules. I refer to our weekly extended-family dinner as "Tuesday night salads." This week it was moved to Monday, and had to be relocated due to the protest/walkout thing.

It was a failure of nomenclature on my part. No time warp or worm hole stuff.
