Goodbye, Milton

Reports are that Milton Friedman has died.

This is a very sad day for me. Reading Milton Friedman changed my life--I changed my major to economics, and my politics became (and remain) free market. He was 94, but as recently as a few months ago was still loving debate.

My thoughts are with his wife Rose and their family.

And now we've lost Bo Schembechler. The old giants are leaving us.

More importantly, will Bo's passing help or hurt Michigan against Ohio State on Saturday. I wouldn't care so much except I am so very tired of Hugh Hewitt trash talking Michigan that I desperately want Michigan to bitch-slap THE Ohio State Univerity just to shut him up.

All in good fun, of course.

Go Blue!

RIP Bo.
